My name is Matteo. I am 25, proudly born and raised in Italy even though I have always had an internationally oriented mindset. I always knew I wanted to become a dentist, and after my high school I moved to Madrid where I lived for 5 years while I studied dentistry. I love to travel, have fun time with friends, play basketball and talk about dentistry for hours.
I came to the Netherlands because I was honestly looking for an experience in a foreign country, a new challenge, a chance to become independent and to grow as a man and as a professional. When I started to read and know more about the Netherlands I saw what a huge opportunity it was to get me closer to my goals and at the same time open myself to a new lifestyle and culture.
Now that I have worked in the Netherlands for a while, it surprises me how much my life has changed throughout the last year. So far everything developed a lot faster than I thought it could. I definitely was not expecting to be settled so fast in a new city that, some months before, I had not even heard of. I met a lot of new friends and interesting people and after more than a year since the beginning I can tell I am very satisfied my decision.
my name is João, I am from Portugal and I have been living in the Netherlands since January 2017, in the city of Enschede.
As a newly graduated dentist, I decided to take part in the DPA adventure looking for better labor conditions, acquire both experience and skills, and most importantly building a strong basis for the future of my career.
I am very pleased with the choice that I have made, and every goal that I have set for myself is slowly being achieved.
If you are an ambitious dentist and you would like to know more about the DPA experience, feel free to contact me. I will be glad to answer all your questions and make everything clearer for you.

Hi there! I am Ana from Spain and I work together with Arjen, Andrea and Dário.
I moved to Holland a couple of years ago and I really believe that Holland is a great place to live!
I know what means to move to a new country without much help and I must say that it isn´t an easy job regarding paperwork, learning the language and getting used to another culture.
Just like you, I also asked myself what steps I needed to take before I moved and finally I contacted DPA. Now I am here because I like to help people who just have the spirit and are keen on starting their new life abroad!
If you would like to know what Holland looks like from the eyes of a Spaniard, just contact me!
¡Hola!
Hey! I’m Arjen and I am one the of the recruiters of DPA Dentistry.
A few years ago, I decided to study the Spanish language and culture and that’s actually what I’m enjoying every day now. I use my Spanish almost every day (although I’ll never loose my Dutch accent I think), meet new people and I can explain why my own country could be interesting for dentists who would like to start a new life here. In the end, when I really see that the dentist is enjoying his new life in the Netherlands, that’s without any doubt the best part of my job and why I am doing this work!
If you are thinking about moving to the Netherlands and if you have questions or maybe doubts, just let me know!

Working as a recruiter in DPA is something I never imagined. What started as a simple job, quickly became a passion. Trabalhar como recrutador para a DPA é algo que nunca imaginei. O que começou por ser um empregue simples, rapidamente tornou-se numa paixão. Hi, my name is Noemi Romero.
I’m from Madrid and I’ve been working in the Netherlands for one year now. I live in The Hague with my husband and our dog, and I currently work as a dentist.
I work at a medium sized clinic that is part of a bigger company that owns a number of clinics around the Netherlands. My husband and I are both happy with our experience living and working here, and continuing learning the language. If you are seeking a new opportunity and a great life experience this could be the chance you are looking for.
If you want more details from someone who has lived through the experience please feel free to contact me.
My name is Román, I come from Spain and now I live in the Netherlands since January 2015, in The Hague. About me I would say I am friendly, positive and a big traveler.
Why I decide the Netherlands? Honestly at the beginning I didn’t know much about this country and much less over dentistry there. So a lot of questions came up, but after some talks with DPA members and some of the dentists who were already there I realized that it was worthy to consider this project as a real option. After all this time I would say the Netherlands offers a great opportunity to grow not only personally, in a new place, with a new language, in a new culture, but also professionally, getting a lot of experience and improving your skills, everything part of this challenging adventure.
Thank you for reading it, I hope my opinion was useful, if you have more questions I’ll be happy to help you.
